NYOTAA – Our Most Creative Project Yet
Alternative recording artist, Nyota Izeidi, needed a website that could reflect her unique, genre-fluid work. Featuring a metadata-driven event management system, Nyota’s website allows her website users to browse detailed event listings without ever leaving the site, enabling consistent design across different bits of functionality.
Most importantly, Nyota’s site needed to act effectively as an Electronic Press Kit (EPK) that would allow organisers to gain effortless access to high-resolution photographs and other pieces of press material.
I’ve had the pleasure of working with Matthias across three separate website projects over the past few years, and each experience has only reinforced why I continue to come back to him. I first approached a few years ago to develop a website for a local arts organisation I was working with, having heard great things about his work. The experience was so positive that when it came time to create my own professional portfolio, there was no question about who I wanted to work with. More recently, when I began managing an emerging artist, I trusted him to design and build her website and EPK, knowing he would deliver the same level of quality and care. What stands out most is his ability to truly understand the vision behind a project and transform ideas into websites that are not only visually polished but also highly functional and tailored to their purpose.
Throughout every project, he has been an absolute pleasure to work with. His communication is clear, he’s incredibly receptive to feedback, and any amendments or technical issues are handled quickly and efficiently. His attention to detail, professionalism, and commitment to delivering the best possible result make the entire process seamless from start to finish. It’s rare to find someone who combines technical expertise with such a collaborative and client-focused approach, and it’s for that reason that he has become my go-to web developer. I would recommend Matthias without hesitation to anyone looking for a talented, reliable, and thoughtful web developer who genuinely cares about bringing their clients’ ideas to life!

Nietzsche’s Abyss – A Beautiful Bit of Philosophy
This client wanted to move away from a pre-built site they thought wasn’t doing their content justice.
Taking great inspiration from their existing blog posts, the site was designed to stand out from other blogs. With a custom ticker-style heading emphasising a bold design aesthetic and a colour palette to match imagery, the website instantly conveys a vintage and academic feel to the user, allowing for an immersive experience while keeping the website responsive for mobile users.

Positive Images Festival – Celebrating a Diverse City, once City of Culture
Positive images was a long-running festival who’s website was in desperate need of a redesign. A complication with a previous provider left organisers struggling to retrieve information from, and update, the site.
So, we started from scratch. Incorporating a brand new logo and colour scheme provided to us by the Positive Images team, the site was built to inspire and encourage enthusiasm towards the multicultural festival, as well as provide a unified place for event organisers to advertise upcoming celebrations and workshops.

Cass Floresca’s Portfolio – Conveying Ideas through Theatre
Cass, a freelance theatre producer and artist manager, wanted a website that could showcase a variety of production work and past events. It was important that the site reflected Cass’s artistic style too.
With a brand new logo and a deep, rich colour scheme, the website effortlessly transmits Cass’s message and inspires her target audience to explore further.
